The industry’s smallest and lightest

Designed to reduce indoor space and cooling requirements of all-indoor trunking radios, the STR 600 split mount trunking radio has a compact, tower-mounted design to lower total cost of ownership (TCO) while maintaining high performance and capacity.

Working with Eclipse indoor units, the STR 600 is the smallest, lightest, and one of the most innovative split mount trunking solution on the market today.

How STR 600 lowers your costs

By relocating the radio units from the shelter to the tower, adjacent to the antenna, the deployment and operational costs are dramatically reduced. Long waveguide runs are eliminated along with the need for costly pressurization and dehydration systems. In addition, with market-leading output power and the ultra-low loss branching, the STR 600 enables smaller antennas to be used, lowering leasing and tower loading costs.

What our customers have to say

Michael Murphy

Chief Executive Officer, Digicel Pacific Limited

I am very happy with our decision to select Aviat Networks for microwave products and services. Network quality and reliability is our highest priority and with extensive expertise and presence in the region, I am confident the Aviat team will meet our highest expectations.

Hendrik Vorster

Chief Technical Officer, MTN Ghana

For many years, we have built our backhaul network using Aviat's Eclipse hybrid platform, and now we are migrating the entire network to IP. The STR600 enables us to significantly increase our backbone capacity while maintaining compatibility with our Eclipse installed base.
